FWP looking for information on cow elk poached up North Fork

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks wardens are seeking the public’s help in gathering information regarding the shooting of a cow elk on private land approximately two miles south of Polebridge near the North Fork Road in Flathead County.
The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between late Sunday night and early Monday morning. The cow elk was discovered shot and left to waste.
FWP is urging anyone who saw suspicious activity in the North Fork area, or who has information about the potential person or persons responsible, to report the information.
