Hayden parade on Saturday

 The city of Hayden's annual Lights Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at McIntire Family Park is Saturday.

The parade starts at 5 p.m. at Hayden Avenue and will move south in the northbound lane of Government Way to Honeysuckle Avenue for walkers and Nita Avenue for vehicles.

It will be followed by the tree-lighting ceremony.

Government Way will be closed to the public from about 4 to 5:15 p.m. from Hayden Avenue to Dakota Avenue during Saturday's Hayden Christmas parade. Side streets will be blocked off around 4:55, from Hayden Avenue to Honeysuckle Avenue. Government Way and affected side streets will reopen once the parade has moved out of the area.
