Free holiday movie announced

SANDPOINT — Looking for a fun and free way to get into the holiday spirit? Sandpoint Cinemas is offering up free screenings of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" on Saturday, Dec. 6; and Sunday, Dec. 7, at 11:15 a.m. and also at 4:40 p.m. every day from Dec. 6-11.

The holiday family comedy, directed by "The Chosen" creator Dallas Jenkins, features The Herdmans, a group of six siblings who lie, steal and bully. They sneak into a church to steal candy, but end up with lead roles in the church pageant. It's a fun, heartwarming film about community and the true meaning of Christmas.
