Larry Masa, 77
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 11 hours, 23 minutes AGO
Larry Earl Masa, 77, of Kalispell, passed away on Dec. 2, 2025. You might not have known he was ill; he preferred that you didn’t. Larry was a simple man of few words and a dedicated family man. Through the years, family and friends heard most of his words through the voice of his teenage sweetheart and wife, Kathy Morton/Masa (deceased), and he was okay with that.
At the age of 12, Larry moved from Baker to Kalispell. He served in the National Guard and began a long career with C and C Lumber, which became Plum Creek Timber Company and now, Weyerhaeuser. He rarely missed a day. Even after working next to him for years, you might know barely anything about him, and he was okay with that. He devoted his spare time to traveling to his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, watching Western movies, loving his boxer dogs, and the semi-occasional keno trip. He loved a good cinnamon roll.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Missy and husband, Mark Sedivy, grandsons, Zach and Damon Sedivy, his son, Paul and wife, Rubianna Masa, granddaughters, Rebecca and husband, John Blouin, Ariana and husband, Colten Bonny, Keirra Masa, and his son, Andy and wife, Jodi Masa, grandsons, Caden, Cole and wife, Ellie, Cooper and Cage, along with his great-granddaughters, Raelynn Blouin and Lainey Masa.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Doris and Paul Masa, his wife, Kathy Masa, and his granddaughter, Jessica Masa.
Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for Larry and his family. A viewing is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. If you can’t make it, he’s okay with that.
The only time he loved to shop was at Christmas, and he was a shockingly good shopper, finding the perfect gifts. In lieu of gifts or flowers, please donate a gift to a child in need this Christmas season.
