Michael Easterley, 72

Michael Easterley, 72, passed away in Kalispell on Nov. 24, 2025. He was born Oct. 24, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mike grew up in St. Louis and proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a signalman on the USS St. Louis. He was happily married to Theresa L. (Wentz) for 52 years. They had two children, Aaron and Kristen. He received his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1993. 

Mike’s career was with several international water technology companies, starting in the warehouse and working his way up through sales to eventually becoming CEO. His career took the family to live in six different states, two states more than once, before retiring to be with the five grandchildren in Kalispell. 

He was an avid golfer and a lifelong Cardinals baseball fan. He served as the Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 1328 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Theron and Catherine (Tedesco) Easterley, his sister, Beverly K. Gartner and his sister-in-law, Marilyn C. Gehner.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa L. (Wentz) Easterley; son, Aaron M. (Joy Sabestinas) Easterley; daughter, Kristen M. Easterley and five wonderful grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Salvatore W. (Carol A.) Easterley; sisters-in-law, Cynthia M. Wentz and Christy A. Bobbitt and brother-in-law, Charles J. Bobbitt.

A holy Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 602 S Main St., Kalispell, MT 59901, with recitation of the Rosary beginning at 10:15 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Matthew’s Knights of Columbus Council 1328 or The American Lung Association. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for the family.
