The Hayden Lake Watershed Improvement District is inviting the community to learn about initial concepts for restoring the Hayden Lake north arm and eliminating Harmful Algal Blooms.
A public meeting is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library Community Room.
Engineering firms SWCA and Eutrophix will present their findings along with preliminary restoration concepts for both Hayden Creek and Hayden Lake.
A Drinking Water Grant administered by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality on behalf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency funds the project.
