Dorothy 'Faye' Loveless, 92
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 19 hours, 30 minutes AGO
Dorothy "Faye" Loveless, of Kalispell, passed away peacefully, on Dec. 6, 2025, ready to meet Jesus and experience eternal life with her heavenly father.
Faye Booth was a true Montanan, born Nov. 22, l933, in Wolf Point to parents, May Kinniburgh and Roger Booth, the second child of seven. In 1936 her family would move to Marion where she spent her childhood and attended grade school. She would go on to graduate from Flathead High School.
Faye took her commitments and wedding vows to heart. She married Vernon Sievers in 1951 and became mother to Richard, Gary, Robert, Edwin and Donald Sievers. Their boys were raised on the Sievers family farm. Vernon later passed away on Dec. 26, 1983.
In 1989 she would marry Earney Hartsoch, becoming more than just a stepmother to Earney’s children, Ron and Merdie Hartsoch, Bev and Chuck Rohrman, Nancy and Dan Smith, and their children and grandchildren. Earney would pass away on July 22, 2009.
She would later marry Donald Loveless on Nov. 4, 2012, and grow her family more with the addition of Don’s three sons, Randy and Kris Loveless, Ryan Loveless and Robin Loveless, and their families. In her commitments to marriage, to the many who became part of her growing family, it was revealed that her and her spouses would show that their hearts were not only big enough to love each other; their hearts were big enough to include "yours" and "mine" as "ours."
To the many family members, extended family members and friends, that have had the privilege of knowing and loving her, we have been blessed beyond measure. She was usually easy going but could speak boldly against things that were wrong. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived out her faith through action instead of idle words. She was a source of compassion and encouragement to family and friends. She had a twinkle in her eye and a sense of humor that could be mischievous. She reminded us that, in spite of the chaos around us, God is still in control. And her courage in facing challenges strengthened those who loved her.
We will miss you, sweet Faye, but are grateful for your love, kindness and compassion.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Loveless; sons, Richard Sievers, Gary Sievers, and Ed and Renee Sievers; grandchildren, Jacie Sievers and Wes Newsham, Mick Sievers, Max Sievers and Jenn, Susan Sievers and Mary Sievers; and great-grandchildren, Eli and Lexi Newsham; and her extended family — the Hartsochs and Lovelesses.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert and son, Don Sievers; her sisters, Phylis Marvin, Mildred Morrison, Patty Robinson, Dolla Collison, Helen Lilly and Roger Booth Jr., and many dear friends and family members.
A celebration of life will be held at Johnson’s Mortuary on Friday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. with graveside services to follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m.
