One dead following Bonner County crash

One person died following a two-vehicle collision in Bonner County on Monday afternoon.
According to a press release sent out Monday night by the Idaho State Police, a Dodge Dakota tried to cross U.S. 95 at East Dufort Road and was struck by a Dodge Ram traveling northbound.
The occupants of the Dodge Dakota were not wearing seat belts and the driver, a 60-year-old female, died at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 65-year-old male, and passenger, a 63-year-old male, were both transported to the hospital for their injuries. The driver of the Dodge Ram was wearing a seat belt, ISP said.
An investigation continues.
