WALLACE — Freshman guard Vanessa Rogier scored seven of her team-high eight points in the fourth quarter, which included a three-pointer, and hauled in a game-high 19 rebounds as the Lady Cats fell to the Lady Miners in a 2A Scenic Idaho Conference matchup held Monday night at Kirby Krulitz Court.

"She's starting to get more comfortable with the speed and physicality of the high school level," Clark Fork High head coach Chris Cavanaugh said of Rogier. "She’s been working hard on her game lately and it’s starting to come around. We’re excited to see how the rest of the season plays out for her."

Senior Priscilla Mayorga had four points, 12 rebounds, and two steals, Rogier also had two steals, and senior Piper Scarlett had two points, two assists and a team-high four steals for Clark Fork, which trailed 29-9 at intermission. Sophomore Gracie Stevens chipped in two points, two assists and a block on the night.

Junior Khepri Wood had 10 points, five rebounds and five steals, Aubrey Birdsell seven points, six rebounds and five steals, and Kylee Phillips six points, 11 rebounds and three steals for Wallace, which improved to 4-2 on the season with the victory.

Clark Fork (0-6) will travel to Mullan on Wednesday for a non-league game.
