Shoshone County Festival of Trees fundraiser ends this week

These are just a few of the Christmas Trees available to be bid on as part of Shoshone County's Festival of Trees Fundraiser at the Shoshone County Courthouse.

The Shoshone County Courthouse has begun its silent auction for Christmas trees as part of the annual Festival of Trees fundraiser. Proceeds will support Meals on Wheels.
Each custom-decorated tree has a theme and comes with additional perks. This year, a tree includes four rounds of golf, a football party pack, games and puzzles, a pot of gold and more.
The auction will run until Dec. 12 and a donation box is also available. Last year, the auction and donations raised $6,555 for Meals on Wheels, and organizers are aiming to surpass that amount this year.
