The Whitefish Theatre Company is holding auditions for the classic comedy, “The Odd Couple” by Neil Simon Dec. 15 and 16.

Hailed as one of the greatest comedies of all time, “The Odd Couple” opens as a group of guys gather for a poker game in the messy apartment of divorced sportswriter Oscar Madison. Late to arrive is Felix Unger, a fastidious news writer, who is distraught after separating from his wife. The two suddenly single pals decide to room together. The legendarily mismatched roommates uproariously try to navigate their differences in a small New York City apartment.

The cast includes six men and two women of different ages and comedic personalities. No experience or preparation is necessary to audition. Pages from the script will be provided. Auditions will start at 7 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center, 1 Central Ave., Whitefish. Participants are asked to arrive early (enter at the north side of the building) to fill out an audition application and review a script excerpt.

Rehearsals for “The Odd Couple” will begin in early January, with performances running Feb. 19–22 and 26, 27 and 28, 2026.
