Two Eagle boys start 2-0 at Native American Classic

Lake County boys basketball teams tipped off the 2025 season at the Native American Classic inside Great Falls’ C.M. Russell High School, with Two Eagle River leading the way after back-to-back victories, Arlee flashing offensive power in a big win and Mission facing a tough opening slate.
Two Eagle River soars to perfect weekend
Two Eagle River made a statement in its opening games, defeating Dodson 89-46 on Friday and battling to a 58-52 win over Hays-Lodgepole on Saturday to start the season 2-0.
The Eagles pushed tempo and distributed scoring throughout the lineup. In the win over Dodson, Thomas Addison scored 13 points, Rhiley Gates added 12, and Jayvian Burke and Talon Addison each posted 10. Ten players found the scoring column.
Arlee splits behind explosive offense
Arlee opened with a runaway 82-33 win over Northern Cheyenne on Friday, piling up 30 points in the third quarter alone to pull away.
Kade Dupuis-Pablo led the Warriors with 16 points, while Dainian Marceau scored 15 and Kade Dix added 11. Every Warrior scored as Arlee dominated from the opening tip.
Saturday brought a tougher matchup as Class B contender Lame Deer secured a 56-46 win over Arlee.
Mission faces strong competition in Great Falls
Mission ran into two high-powered opponents and fell to 0-2 on the weekend, but standout guard Lex LaFrombois showed early-season firepower.
LaFrombois poured in 39 points during Friday’s loss to Poplar, delivering one of the top individual scoring performances of the Classic. The Bulldogs hung around early before the Indians exploded in the second and third quarters to pull away, winning 89-47.
On Saturday, Mission battled Wolf Point but dropped a 57-36 result. LaFrombois paced the Bulldogs again with 22 points.
