The annual Wreaths Across America celebration at the Montana Veteran’s Home is Saturday, Dec. 13 starting at 10 a.m. The ceremony will start inside the Montana Veterans’ Home where ceremonial wreaths will be placed, recognizing all branches of the military and POW/MIAs. Attendees should enter through the south entrance near the cafeteria.

We have achieved our goal of having a wreath for every grave at the Montana Veteran’s Home Cemetery this year due of the generosity of our community. Students will assist Montana Veterans’ Home residents in placing memorial wreaths as part of our goal to teach the next generation about the sacrifices to honor and protect America’s freedom.

Our speakers this year are Mathew Pickar, U.S. Army veteran of Iraq/Afghanistan; Vitoria Renate, Volunteers of America and Capt. Jenna Schaak from the Kalispell Glacier Army Battalion. Students from the Columbia Falls High School Choir directed by Emily Hackethorn will sing the National Anthem. Our Chaplain is Father Sean Raftis. Dana Scranton will perform taps.

Once the indoor ceremonies are concluded, the public is invited to place wreaths on the graves at the Montana Veteran’s Home Cemetery. Please dress for the weather. Information about our 2026 wreath donation campaign will be announced at the ceremony.
