Whitefish Christmas Stroll is Friday

The annual Whitefish Christmas Stroll is set for Friday, Dec. 12. The long-standing holiday tradition will feature holiday music, photos with Santa, caroling, the tree lighting ceremony, street artisans and food vendors. 

The schedule is as follows:  

5 p.m. Stroll begins.
5 p.m. Alpine Bell Ringers hand bell choir concert followed by harp music and the North Valley Music School Christmas recital at First Presbyterian Church.
6 p.m. Dance performance by Whitefish and Bigfork Dance, south of Third on Central Avenue.
6 p.m. The Flathead Valley Community College vocal jazz ensemble, outside of the O'Shaughnessy Center.
6:15 p.m. Tree lighting ceremony with the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce and sponsor, Stockman Bank, Outside O’Shaughnessy Center in Depot Park.
6:30 p.m. Santa arrives via Bar W Guest Ranch wagon at Depot Park and is led down Central to Huck's Place by the Buddy the Elf for selfies with Santa with The Whitefish Community School.
6:40 p.m. Santa's arrival followed by Elevated Aerial Studio’s fire performance.
7 p.m. The Glacier Symphony Brass Quintet plays holiday music in front of the Stockman Bank arch near Fourth Street.
7 p.m. The Vocal FVCC Ensemble, between First and Second Street on Central.
8 p.m. The Vocal FVCC Ensemble, between First and Second Street on Central.
8:20 p.m. Elevated Aerial Studio Fire Performance, between Second and Third Street on Central.
8 - 8:30 p.m. Whitefish Chamber of Commerce Shoppers' Drawing winners announced. 

Throughout the evening: Wagon rides by Bar W Guest Ranch, warm up at fire pits at various locations on Central, create ornaments at Stumptown Art Studio, photos courtesy of Glacier Medical Associates outside The Bulldog Saloon, Buddy the Elf at Blackstar, pumpkin bowling with Two Sparrows Chiropractic and prizes from Pin n’ Cue between Second and Third Street, Birdland Jazz Combo playing a holiday set at FORLOH, say hello to the Dog Sled Adventure Team, Christmas shoppers' registration at the southern end of the stroll, Whitefish Winter Carnival float, gentle giants from Clydesdale Outpost, Dance Elements performances outside Sappari, the SnowBike Nation “Bat Cave”, and s’more roasting with Compass Chiropractic.
