American Legion Post 143 hosting Army-Navy party

American Legion Post 143 in Post Falls is inviting the public to watch the 126th Army-Navy football game on Saturday.
The American Legion is the first and only veterans service organization to be an Associate Level Sponsor of "America's Game," a press release said.
The sponsorship allows The American Legion, the nation’s largest veterans service organization with 1.5 million members, to raise awareness about "Be the One," its primary mission to reduce the number of veterans and servicemembers lost to suicide.
The event will launch the program in Post Falls to focus on veteran mental health, the release said.
Doors open at 11 a.m. Post Commander Tim Shaw will give an address at 11:45 a.m., followed by the game at noon.
Post 143 is at 1138 E Poleline Ave.
