Eureka boys rally past Chinook, are 2-0

SHELBY — Eureka’s Tyce Van Orden scored 28 points, 18 coming in the fourth quarter as the Lions rallied past Chinook 70-63 at the Shelby Invitational boys basketball tournament Friday.

Van Orden’s point total included one 3-pointer; Brody Chapman added 18 points for the Lions and Rowan Burow checked in with 10. 

Chinook was led by Ryan Bell’s 23 points. Bell hit six of the Sugarbeeters’ 10 3-pointers. 

On Thursday, Burow scored 19 points and Chapman had 11 points and 11 rebounds in a 57-48 win over Cut Bank. 

Van Orden added 13 points for the Lions. A complete summary was unavailable.
