Pike beats buzzer to lift CMR over Glacier

GREAT FALLS — Heartbreak strikes early for Glacier as Carson Pike banked in a 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded to give CMR a 64-63 victory over the Wolfpack in AA boys basketball Friday.
With 3.7 seconds left, the Rustlers inbounded to Caleb Taylor in the post, who found Pike on the right wing for the winner.
Glacier led 59-49 before the Rustlers closed on a 15-4 run.
Cooper Pelc led all scorers with 19 points for Glacier (0-1), Carter Knopik added 11.
Caleb Taylor scored 13 to lead the Rustlers, Ben Cunningham tallied 12 and Ruben Chevis had 11. Pike scored 10, including the dagger triple.
The Wolfpack are back in action Saturday against Great Falls at 2 p.m.
