Hospice of North Idaho announced that Shawna Cauley, MHA, RN, has been appointed executive director.
"Shawna’s exceptional leadership, deep commitment to compassionate, patient- and family-centered care, and dedication to our mission make this a proud moment for our organization," said Lora Whalen, board president. "We are excited to move forward under her leadership and look forward to the continued growth and impact of Hospice of North Idaho.”
Cauley brings extensive healthcare leadership experience and a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care, a press release said. With a strong clinical background and a master of healthcare administration, she has been a trusted leader within the organization.
She replaces former executive director Eric Ladwig, who resigned.
“We are grateful for Eric Ladwig’s leadership and service over the past three years,” Whalen said.
Hospice of North Idaho provides end-of-life care and support to patients and families across the region.
"Under Shawna’s leadership, the organization will continue to strengthen services, enhance community partnerships, and uphold its mission of compassionate care," a press release said.
