Someone was reportedly driving a light gray Ford Sprinter van recklessly, speeding southbound on U.S. 93 North, weaving in and out of traffic and cutting off other vehicles.

A woman called the Kalispell Police Department, claiming she had power of attorney and that her father’s “ex-wife of five years” had been making fraudulent charges on his bank account. She told an officer that he was still married to the woman and was informed that it would be a civil matter if the couple were still married because it was marital property.

The woman called the police later when her father’s alleged ex-wife showed up at her workplace and “caused a scene,” upset when she confronted her about the purported fraudulent charges on her father’s account. Officers counseled her and provided options on what to do.

A man, who allegedly camped out in a parking lot, appeared to be under the influence to an employee who called the police wanting him kicked off the property, saying the man, who was sitting in the passenger seat of a gray or blue SUV, started yelling at himself. He left before officers could respond.

The manager of an apartment complex voiced concerns to police that an older disabled woman was allegedly being taken advantage of by a man living there who wasn’t on the lease. She reportedly received this information second-hand, from a couple of residents who reportedly said the man was hostile when they asked him about the woman and that he refused to let them see her.

Someone was suspicious of a bronze Honda Accord parked on the street all night because someone allegedly told them they saw people inside doing “weird stuff,” without specifying what they were doing. Officers didn’t see any suspicious activity, but advised the occupants about city ordinances regarding lodging in vehicles.

Store security reportedly called officers for assistance with a fired employee whom they wanted to prosecute for theft. Officers ticketed the individual for theft.
