Program explores winter wellness

SANDPOINT — Today's Natural Connections program is all about wintertime wellness.

The monthly program will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sandpoint Library, 1407 Cedar St.

Classes offered are:

• 10 a.m. — Seasonal Affective Disorder survival kit: Create your own herbal teas and scrubs with Laura Clemmons of Tendril Herbal Apothecary. This class will demystify SAD and provide a practical toolkit of natural solutions.

• 12:30 — Find Your Voice and Raise it Up in Song!: Come explore your singing voice, learn simple songs and rounds, and experience the fun of a song circle.

• 2 p.m. — Crafting an Herbal Apothecary for Winter Wellness with Kristina Bauer of Untamed Alchemy. Learn how to navigate cold/flu season naturally with simple recipes featuring powerful herbal allies. Participants will be able to take home their own unique herbal syrup.
