The Superior Bobcat boys dropped a pair of tough non-conference basketball games last week, falling 68-46 to Lincoln in Superior Thursday and 49-45 to Seeley-Swan in Seeley Lake Friday.

Coach Jake McElroy and his Bobcats open District 14C play at Charlo Saturday.

McElroy thought shooting – good by Lincoln, not so good by the Bobcats – was the difference in that game. “We executed our offense and were getting good looks,” he said, “we just couldn’t seem to get our shots to drop.”

Coach McElroy thought his Bobcats played pretty well in Seeley Lake as well. “We stayed with them most of the way, had our chances in the end,” he said. "We have played a really good non-conference schedule and are ready for our first conference game with Charlo Saturday.

“We are excited to see how we match up with the other teams in 14C,” he added. “Charlo is a talented team and we look forward to going into the break with that game.”

Gannon Quinlan scored 15 points to lead the Bobcats in Seeley and Landon Richards added nine points. No other scoring was available.
