A man’s email to a woman stating that he needed to know why they could not be together was the last straw and she called the Kalispell Police Department from a store. She hoped they could help spell it out to him that she did not want further contact. Officers relayed her message, and he reportedly agreed to cease all contact with her.

A woman called the police to report that her 2009 blue Dodge Caravan was taken in Proctor and was in Kalispell. She believed the suspect was her ex and said the keys were inside the vehicle, but that it had no fuel. Officers in Kalispell advised Lake County law enforcement of the call, requesting they contact her to get a report.

Later, police received another call from the woman, who asked local officers help her recover the van because she felt the Lake County Sheriff’s Office was ignoring her. Officers made contact with a man about the unauthorized use of the vehicle.

A vehicle at a stoplight allegedly backed up into woman's vehicle. Although both parties exchanged information, she thought she should report it in case the other driver claimed she hit him.

A man left a medical facility with an IV in his arm and staff wanted officers to check on his welfare to ensure it was safely removed.

On an open line to 911, dispatch allegedly heard someone say, “Hit me,” while a child screamed in the background. The child was reportedly heard saying, “Called the cops,” while an infant was heard crying. A man picked up the phone, claiming nothing was going on and denied that anyone said anything about hitting them. He then yelled at someone for calling law enforcement and hung up.
