The annual gingerbread house event started out slow but soon families were filling the tables in the Alberton School cafeteria where construction-kits were laid out using graham crackers, M & M’s, frosting and gobs of sprinkles. Kids became creative making two-story houses and some ranch style homes were over a foot long. Hot coco with marshmallows and holiday sweets were enjoyed for the two-hour event Sunday afternoon.
