Whitefish girls also go 2-0 in Frenchtown

FRENCHTOWN — Whitefish’s girls matched the boys by going 2-0 at the Western A Tip-Off girls basketball tournament Friday and Saturday.

On Friday Whitefish subdued Corvallis 51-31, and on Saturday the Bulldogs beat Stevensville 53-32. Avery Orme had 20 points against Corvallis and 19 against Stevi.  

Polson, Browning and Columbia Falls went 1-1 at the tournament. 

Saturday’s action saw Mason Quinn hit seven 3-pointers and scored 37 points in Frenchtown’s 73-46 win over Ronan.

Reese Hudson added eight points against Corvallis and nine on Saturday against Stevi.  

In Saturday’s win Allie Shors chipped in 11 points for the Bulldogs.
