The Commissioners passed a resolution of intention on December 2, 2025. The amendments included Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5.4 of the lakeshore protection regulations pertaining to the definitions, procedures, and existing non-conforming structures. The Planning Board recommended that the Board of Lake County Commissioners could adopt the amendments with the modifications made during the meeting. The Board of Lake County Commissioners will review the Planning Staff’s proposal with the Planning Board’s recommendation and the proposed amendments for conformance with the criteria for issuance of a permit found in 75-7-207, MCA, make any revisions or amendments determined necessary, and may pass a resolution of adoption.
