DOVER — Dish at Dover Bay is celebrating its 15th anniversary here in Dover Bay and 17-year anniversary as a thriving and successful restaurant in the greater Sandpoint area. The anniversary was recently marked by the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Established by proprietor Gary Peitz in early 2009, Dish has become a household name for those who appreciate the finer things, chamber officials said — namely great food and drink, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and one of the most gorgeous waterfront settings in the area. Chef Ben Gendro creates new menus designed to showcase seasonal offerings. General manager Suzanne Waldrup steers the ship year-round with dinner service seven nights per week and lunch every day during the summer months.
In the winter, Dish at Dover Bay features three outdoor heated igloos available nightly for that closer-to-nature snow globe dining experience and monthly wine dinners that feature a coursing menu and a variety of wines chosen from a particularly special winery or for their regional appeal.
