Charlo Lady Vikings fall to unbeaten Drummond

The Charlo Lady Vikings ran into a hot Drummond team and dropped a 58–33 decision in nonleague girls basketball action. 

Charlo kept pace early matching Drummond 13–13 in the first quarter, but the Lady Trojans began to pull away in the second period and extended the margin after halftime. 

Drummond outscored Charlo 14–8 in the second quarter to take a 27–21 lead into the break, then used an 18–8 advantage in the third quarter to create separation. The Lady Trojans closed the game by holding Charlo to four points in the fourth quarter. 

GG Hawk led the Lady Vikings with 15 points, providing nearly half of Charlo’s offense. Brielle Zempel followed with nine points. 

Drummond, which improved to 4–0 on the season, was led by Kimber Parsons with 22 points. Charlo fell to 1–2 on the season.
