On Dec. 9, 2025, after a massive stroke, the angels came and escorted Robin Gail (Anderson) Matthews to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Robin was born Feb. 16, 1954, is Wasco, Calif., to Paul H. and Frances (Foster) Anderson. She lived with her family in Wasco and Orangeville, until they moved to Lake Tahoe.

Robin completed the majority of her school years there, enjoying the lake in the summer and skiing in the winter. When her family moved to Ronan, she finished her last two years of high school there, participating in choir and cheer leading.

After her high school graduation, Robin married Rick Jennison and they moved  to Virginia and then California, returning to Ronan for the birth of her first son, Robert. Three years later, her second son, Rich, was born.

During that time, she was a Lamaze instructor and was able to assist and encourage many women during their childbirth experience. Later, as a single mother, she started pursuing her dream of becoming a registered nurse. Through her hard work and perseverance, she completed her degree and was awarded her nursing pin. She was very proud of her accomplishments.

After this graduation she married again. Robin moved with her sons and husband to Wisconsin where she worked in different hospitals until the family moved to Madison, where she worked as a nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The work was intense but she excelled.

She later became a traveling nurse, which allowed her the freedom to visit Montana and help at times with her mother’s care.

When Robin retired, she moved back to Montana where she had property and built a home in Plains where she lived until recently.

Robin was a gifted lifetime learner. She loved to read constantly and attended many conferences and seminars in pursuit of her next goal of becoming a naturopathic physician. She loved her sons, as well as music and art and was an accomplished photographer. She loved design, sewing, cooking and baking and had many other artistic pursuits.

Robin pursued her passions with determination and worked faithfully toward the completion of her goals, even when physical limitations tried to slow her down.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Frances Anderson, her sister-in-law, Cindy Anderson, her nephew, TJ Anderson, as well as other relatives.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Tammy) Jennison of Ronan and Rich Jennison of Plains; her sister, Debbie (Dave) Long, and her brothers, Jim (Judy) Anderson and Tom (Melissa) Anderson, all of Ronan; her grandson, Morgan Jennison of Ronan; and many nieces and nephews living in Australia, Montana, Idaho and Washington.

The family would like to thank Dr. Billings and the staff of St. Luke Community Hospital for their care during the last days of Robin’s life.
