Scholarship applications available for PHS seniors, grads

Scholarships applications are currently available for Polson High School seniors and graduates. The deadline for applications is Feb. 13.

Any student who is currently enrolled as a senior at Polson High School or as a previous PHS graduate is eligible for these scholarships, provided by the Polson Scholarship and Education Foundation (PSEF).

Fifteen different $1,000 scholarships are geared for high school seniors, and 14 different scholarships up to $2,000 are available for PHS students enrolled in college. These scholarships are for any accredited four-year, two-year, community college or vocational program.

Qualifications vary with each scholarship, and not all are based on grade point average.

Last year 35 students received more than $50,000 in scholarships from PSEF.

The scholarship application is available online at the Polson High School website, under the heading "Counseling/PSEF.” All scholarship requirements and applications can be accessed and entered electronically from this web page.
