PREP WRESTLING: Bonners Ferry finishes tenth in Kellogg

The Bonners Ferry Wrestling Team went to Kellogg for the George Wild Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 13. There were 22 teams in the boys group and 15 on the girls side, including one from Montana. Bonners Ferry finished in tenth place for both the boys and the girls.  

Boys

Taylor Dodd, who finished in second at state last year, pinned four straight opponents en route to a win in his division, his second win in as many weeks.  

Ethan Matthews finished in second place in his division, as three wrestlers just missed a chance at the podium by one match.

Girls

Aubree Graves finished in second place, losing to a Sandpoint opponent whose school finished in first place. Kylie Calderone also lost to a Sandpoint high schooler, finishing in fourth place following a close 2-1 loss.
