Haggard, Pedersen led Pirates, Wildcats to wins

Cody Haggard scored 20 points and the Polson Pirates downed Livingston 59-36 Friday in Class A basketball as crossover tournaments continued arond Montana.

Browning, Ronan  and Columbia Falls also got wins for the Northwest A Friday, while Bigfork fell to Lockwood. Scores were unavailable for Libby-Stevensville and Whitefish-Glendive.

HAMILTON — Malakai Curley hit a pair of 3-pointers and had seven points in Polson’s 13-3 first-quarter surge, and Haggard had the other six points. The Pirates led 31-15 at halftime.
