Killarney Lake temporarily closed due to storm-related damage

Downed trees and flooding damage at Killarney Lake Recreation Area caused by high winds during storm / Bureau of Land Management
COEUR d’ALENE —The Bureau of Land Management has temporarily closed Killarney Lake recreation site due to downed trees, flooding, boat dock and ramp damage, a press release said Friday.
The closure is necessary to protect public health and safety and will continue until repairs are complete.
Staff is visiting other BLM Coeur d’Alene recreation sites to assess potential damage and take action, if necessary.
