Carol 'Ginny' V. Westhafer, 82

Carol Virginia “Ginny” Westhafer was born Sept. 7, 1943, in Scottsbluff, Neb., and was called home to be with her Savior on Nov. 20, 2025, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
She was united in marriage to Paul Frank Westhafer on April 27, 1968. They shared 55 years of marriage until Paul’s death in 2023.
Ginny is survived by her children: Lynn Elizabeth Westhafer; Michael Paul Westhafer and his children: Chloe Marie Tracy. Taylor Donald Wilkerson and Logan Donald; and son Lee Eric Westhafer and his son, Konrad Bradley Westhafer.
Ginny was a faithful member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. She was active in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) and other church organizations, serving with quiet dedication and a servant’s heart.
Ginny especially cherished time spent helping raise her grandson, Konrad.
Ginny enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, stained glass and faithfully followed the Seattle Mariners. She also took great joy in caring for her dogs, treating them as cherished members of the family.
A memorial service will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814, at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.
