Innovia Foundation’s annual Community Grants Program is currently accepting applications from nonprofit organizations serving eastern Washington and North Idaho.

Each year, this program awards more than $1 million to support a wide range of impact areas, including arts and culture, economic opportunity, education and youth development, health and wellbeing, and quality of life.

This year’s funding theme, “Building Stability and Belonging,” emphasizes support for programs that increase access to basic needs such as food, housing, healthcare, childcare, and education, as well as programs that bring people together, build relationships, and create inclusive spaces where everyone can participate and belong. When possible, the Foundation will prioritize proposals that best align with this theme

“Innovia’s 2026 Community Grants are about meeting neighbors where they are today while investing in the connections that will sustain our region tomorrow,” said Shelly O’Quinn, CEO of Innovia Foundation. “By prioritizing both access to basic needs and programs that bring people together, we aim to reduce hardship, strengthen relationships, and ensure every person in our region feels supported and connected.”

Organizations that submit an application by the early bird deadline of Jan. 9, 2026, will be automatically entered into a drawing to receive a $1,000 grant for general operating support. The final application deadline is February 6, 2026.

Innovia Foundation partners with residents in North Idaho and eastern Washington to identify and respond to the region’s greatest opportunities, help those in need, and leave a lasting impact. Each year, Innovia Foundation invests $14 million into the region's communities through grants and scholarships.
