JOHN HAMILTON | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 6 months, 1 week AGO
Coach Brooks Sanford and his Plains Trotters seem to keep getting the best of both basketball worlds in Classes B and C, and again paid the price last week, falling 59-27 to defending Western B champion Loyola in Missoula last Tuesday, and 52-32 to current Western C power Lincoln in Plains Friday.
Completing the 2025 part of the schedule in the game with Lincoln, the Trotters return to action Jan. 3 hosting the Troy Lady Trojans.
Taryn Meredith led the Trotters in the game with Lincoln scoring 10 points. The Lynx were led by Makena Copenhaver-Clark, who scored 21 points, and Remi Dietz and Maddi Davis, who added 11 each.
Scoring from the Loyola game was not available.
