NO. 2851 CITY OF WHITEFISH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AMBULANCE RATE ADJUSTMENTS AND ESTABLISMENT OF NEW FEES FOR CERTAIN FIRE RESCUE SERVICES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular meeting on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 7:10 p.m., the Whitefish City Council will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the proposed ambulance rates and fees for other fire department services.  Ambulance rates have not been adjusted since July 1, 2019. In anticipation of a needed rate adjustment, the City Council awarded a consulting contract to Baker Tilly to prepare a cost of services report for emergency medical services and certain fire rescue services provided by the City. On May 19, 2025, the City Council accepted and approved the Fire/EMS Cost of Services Report prepared by Baker Tilly. Based on general direction from the City Council in May 2025, the proposed rate adjustments and establishment of new fire rescue fees are less than those recommended by Baker Tilly.
