MOSCOW — Idaho football coach Thomas Ford Jr. announced a pair of junior college signings to the best recruiting class in FCS on Monday.

Damonte Bias, a running back from Lawndale, Calif., and Jackson Weng, a wide receiver from Orange, Calif., both signed to join the Vandals in 2026.

Bias (5-11, 180), a home-run hitting running back from El Camino College, is also versatile enough to be a weapon in the return game. In his sophomore season at El Camino, he averaged 7.1 yards per carry on 118 carries, scoring six touchdowns on the ground. In the kick return game, he had returns of 44 and 43 yards last season, with a long of 76 in his freshman year. He had 36 total returns at El Camino, averaging over 25 yards per return.

Coming out of high school in Orange, Calif., Weng (6-2, 210) originally signed to play at UTEP. After redshirting for the Miners, he hit the transfer portal as a three-star recruit with an 82.0 grade from 247 Sports. He transferred to Mt. San Jacinto in 2024 where he developed into a big-play threat. In 21 games, he caught 100 passes for nearly 1,500 yards and 12 touchdowns, including a long reception of 90 yards.
