Walter Ben Shrine

Walter Ben Shriner, 91, our kind and loving father passed away peacefully on Dec. 22, 2025, to be with the love of his life, Donna Lee (Davidson) Shriner of 62 years. 

He was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Jordan, Montana, to William D. and Rachel Olive Shriner. Ben married his love of his life, Donna, on July 8, 1953. They had four boys Michael, Ben, Joe and Del.

Ben worked for St. Regis and Champion International; he retired after 41 years of working there. Ben enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He had a special interest in stock car racing when he was younger and would race up Parmenter and Highway 37. Ben was known to roll his car and earned an upside down car trophy.

Ben is proceeded in death by his wife Donna; parents: William “Dee” and Rachel Shriner; Robert, Bernice and Ruth; and son Michael Shriner. 

He is survived by sons: Ben, Joe and Del; sister Elvira Orsborne; grandchildren: Cody Lee Kelly, Makana Shriner, Cody Shriner, Crystal Lisle, Amber Shriner, Hannah Stoller, and Selena Shriner; and 10 great-grandchildren.

There will not be a service at this time.
