Law roundup: Spirit of giving or nefarious prank

Someone placed dollar bills onto cars parked in front of a store. The reporting party was concerned the cash could be laced with drugs that would incapacitate drivers.

A loud bang drew the attention of a caller who thought someone might be shooting at ducks. Another person suspected it was noise from a construction site.

A person was sent to the Warming Center in Kalispell after warming up in a lobby for too long.

After allegedly being attacked by his father-in-law, a man wanted to know if he could use his firearm if he returned to his property. Dispatch advised the man to secure his home and said they could not offer legal advice.

Witnesses to a crash said a sedan ran a red light and was T-boned by a pickup that pushed the car into two other vehicles. Several tow trucks were called.

A dispute arose over the use of an apartment complex trash bin. A woman was confronted after dumping her refuse into the container that is for tenants only. Agitated, the woman told the reporting party to mind their own business and then called them names. 

Two people on small dirt bikes were seen riding up and down a sledding hill.
