Massive fire at firewood processing mill on Helena Flats Road

Numerous fire departments at this hour are fighting a massive blaze at a firewood processing mill off Helena Flats Road.
The fire broke out about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and the mill looked to be a total loss. Numerous fire engines are on the scene and it looked like several buildings had collapsed.
Tanker trucks are getting water from hydrants off Highway 2, so motorists should expect to see numerous fire engines.
The glow of the blaze can easily be seen from the Glacier Park International Airport. Helena Flats Road in that area is closed and people are urged to avoid the area.
