NIC MEN'S BASKETBALL: Shoreline knocks off Cardinals at the buzzer

COEUR d’ALENE — Adrian Peev hit a 3-pointer as time expired for Shoreline as the Dolphins beat North Idaho College 101-100 in the final game of the TitleOne Classic at Rolly Williams Court on Tuesday. 

Justus Haseley, a freshman from Toronto, Ontario, made a pair of free throws with six seconds remaining for NIC (10-5), which trailed by 12 points midway through the second half. Sophomore Ne’quan Brown had 35 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinals, who outrebounded Shoreline 43-23. 

Peev and James Saulsby scored 23 points each for Shoreline (6-6). 

NIC hosts College of Southern Idaho to open Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Spokane beat Tacoma in Tuesday's earlier game at NIC.
