SANDPOINT — Bonner County EMS are celebrating two employees as its paramedic and EMT of the year.

The pair’s selection was announced by the agency on its social media pages.

Chandler Wilkinson, lieutenant/paramedic, was honored with 2024 Paramedic of the Year award. Wilkinson is assigned to the A-shift.

“Chandler works hard to provide clinically compassionate care to every one of her patients,” Bonner County EMS officials said in the Facebook post. “Chandler is a great mentor to our new paramedics, assists with inventory control, and handles data input to the CARES program. She is always willing to help with whatever is asked of her.”

Chad Cross, EMT-Advanced, was honored with 2024 EMT of the Year award. Cross is assigned to the C-shift.

“Chad works hard every shift to provide exceptional care to every patient he comes in contact with,” Bonner County EMS officials said in the post. “Chad is also seen routinely cleaning ambulances, stations, etc. and rarely sits down except to study his paramedic books.”
