The LOR Foundation has done it again!

Turner Mountain Ski Patrol applied for and was awarded a grant from LOR to fund the purchase of a replacement snowmobile. The group is an all-volunteer organization that is vital to the operations and success of Turner Mountain Ski Area.

It has two snowmobiles for their mountain operations, which includes transporting equipment and personnel around the mountain, providing rapid responses to any incident and evacuating the lift in the event of a breakdown.

The Ski Patrol raised enough money this past fall to replace one of their over 20-year-old snowmobiles, and now, thanks to the LOR Foundation, they are able to replace the second one.

"Having these vastly improved snow machines will greatly assist TMSP’s ability to carry out their mission at Turner Mountain Ski Area," said Sarah Valentine, secretary for the Turner Mountain Ski Patrol Board of Directors. "Thank you, LOR Foundation!"
