SANDPOINT — Ziply Fiber has been recognized by the Greater Sandpoint Chamber as its business of the month.

In fall 2024, Nicole Barnett, the community development manager of Ziply Fiber, reached out to the Sandpoint Chamber to discuss what the organization was all about. After learning all the benefits of being a chamber member, Ziply Fiber made the decision to not only join, but to join at the Silver-Elite level. 

Since joining, Ziply has taken action to become fully involved with the Greater Sandpoint Chamber by leveraging membership benefits and investing in the community and the chamber. Among its activities are the sponsoring of local community events, and chamber events such as sponsoring the chamber's luncheon venue for the year, being one of the sponsors for the Holiday Tree Lighting in November 2024, and sponsoring the Winter Carnival Parade of Lights. 

"Barnett and the Ziply Fiber team understand that being a chamber member is more than just joining and paying your annual membership dues," Mickey Quinn, chamber executive director, said. "In order to truly make the membership mean something, you have to be involved, show up, participate, and be present for what is happening in our community."

Quinn invited the community to celebrate Ziply Fiber's selection as the chamber's February Business of the Month.
