Sandpoint Future 3rd grade boys win Lewiston Tourney

The Sandpoint Future 3rd grade boys travel basketball team won the Battle Basketball Presidents Tourney held this past Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16 in both Lewiston and Clarkston. The boys beat the Palouse Cougars (29-14) and the 208 Boys (30-28) on day one. On day two, they picked up two more wins to go an undefeated 4-0, beating the LC Kraken (21-13) and the Lewiston Cutthroats (29-18) in the championship match. With the tournament win, they have officially qualified for the Washington State Basketball Championships set to be held Friday, Mar. 14 through Sunday, Mar. 16 in Spokane.…
