This week's Athlete of the Week is Brecken Mire of Sandpoint girls basketball.
A sophomore guard, Brecken recorded a career-high 26 points and added five assists, four steals and seven rebounds in a recent loss to Kennewick. The following day, she tallied 15 points, five assists, three steals and two blocks to lead the Lady Bulldogs to a 45-29 win over Royal.
