Dori was born in Belt where she grew up in and around the area as a young girl. In 1966 she traveled to Libby with her family and made this area her home.

Dori never met a stranger and this was reflected in the work she enjoyed most. She worked at many locations throughout her life. Some might remember her from the 4Bs where she stayed over 20 years.

Many will remember meals she lovingly prepared. She loved to cook for others and watch them enjoy every bite! She has a talent of making even the simplest dishes extra special.

Dori loved to go camping and would spend weeks making plans, preparing their camper with supplies and items that made every campsite a home away from home.

Her home and family was the most important part of her life. She took great joy making a loving home where many years of memories have been made.

She was very active with the American Legion, even becoming the auxiliary president for many years.
