Taylor-Jefferson’s big night helps Polson defeat Hamilton

Polson won its second game of the season as Rylee Taylor-Jefferson had the second-highest scoring night of her career with 19 points in a 42-38 victory over Class A foe Hamilton.

The Lady Broncs led 17-15 at halftime, but the Lady Pirates took the lead in the third quarter and outpaced Hamilton by four points in the fourth.

Sam Rensvold had 14 points, which was the third-highest scoring night for her career, while Aleysia Black added six points. Both Rensvold and Taylor-Jefferson hit two three-pointers.

Hamilton fell to 0-6 on the season with the loss.
