Juanita Sue Luedecke
The Western News | UPDATED 1 week AGO
Juanita Sue Luedecke, known to all by “Sue,” went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 31, 2024.
She was born in Dunlow, West Virginia to Luther and Maltie Maynard on May 30, 1942.
She married Roger G. Luedecke on Sept. 11, 1960, in Libby, Montana.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roger, who passed in 1980, as well as her siblings Tennis, Lacy, Lloyd, Ray, Welcie Preston, Geneva, Laura Belle, Della, Penny and Victoria.
She is survived by her three sons, Bill (Charlotte) Luedecke, Shawn (Robin) Luedecke and James (Patty) Luedecke, all of Libby, and one grandson Benjamin Luedecke, also of Libby, as well as one brother, Errol of Columbia Falls, Montana and one sister Faye of Proctorville, Ohio.
Sue was a good wife and mother, raising her boys on her own after the passing of her husband. Sue loved her Red Hat ladies and liked being a “social butterfly.”
She is now reunited with Roger after 44 years. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed, but we are all grateful for the time we had with her.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring and announced later.
