NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT PRE-QUALIFICATIONS FOR  2025 ASPHALT BASALT CHIP AND FOG SEAL  CITY OF POST FALLS    The City of Post Falls is seeking to pre-qualify general contractors for the 2025 Asphalt Basalt Chip and Fog Seal in the City of Post Falls, pursuant to Idaho Code 67-2805, “Procurement of Public Works Construction”. Pre-qualification applications will be received at the office of the City Clerk, located at City Hall, 408 N. Spokane Street, Post Falls, Idaho 83854 until 10:00 a.m. local time, Thursday, January 30, 2025.    Work associated with the proposed project is generally described as follows:    The work includes the application of bituminous material followed by the application of a both ¼” and 3/8” basalt chip seal and fog seal on selected City of Post Falls streets.    The Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment, labor and materials to complete the basalt chip sealing and fog coat of those roadways described in the Contract Documents, in accordance with the Specifications, as directed by the Project Manager. All work shall be in accordance with the applicable latest sections of the Idaho Department of Transportation (ITD) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, supplemental Specifications, and all recent revisions to the same.    All responses must be signed and the proposing companies must have a current, valid Idaho Public Works Contractor license for the work under consideration in order to submit. Upon receipt of SOQs, the City will evaluate and determine which Contractors are qualified to bid.
